John Alden, a friend and mentor to many in the transportation industry, including many members of the TLA , has passed. John died on April 5th while vacationing with his wife, Kathy, in Arizona. After serving in the military, John attended The Ohio State University School of Law. After law school, John practiced law in the Columbus, Ohio, area where he focused his legal career on transportation law. In 1976, John founded Alden Law. In April 2018, John joined Luper Neidenthal & Logan. John was always willing to share his vast knowledge in the many nuances of transportation law. In addition to his generous advice and wisdom, John will always be remembered for his smile and quick wit by the many friends he made in his long and distinguished career.
